Warranty & Liability for MB Vanlife Crafters

At Vanlife Crafters, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality products and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. This Warranty & Liability Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding warranties for products purchased from our online store, as well as our liability in case of issues or disputes, in compliance with European Union (EU) and Lithuanian consumer protection laws.
1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 Manufacturer Warranties
All products sold by Vanlife Crafters come with the manufacturer's warranty. The warranty period and coverage for each product will vary based on the manufacturer’s terms. These details are provided on the product page for each item.

The warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, accidents, or improper handling by the customer.

At Vanlife Crafters, we offer 1–2 year store warranties, depending on the product. The specific warranty period is clearly listed in each product description.

For Victron Energy products, we offer a 2-year store warranty. Victron also provides a manufacturer warranty of up to 5 years; however, eligibility for the manufacturer warranty may depend on the original purchase channel and authorised dealer status.
1.2 Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:

Wear and tear due to regular use (e.g., tires, fabrics, finishes).

Damages caused by accidents, misuse, or neglect.

Modifications made to the product by the customer or third parties.
Issues resulting from failure to follow maintenance instructions.
2. Warranty Claims
2.1 How to Submit a Warranty Claim
If you believe that a product you purchased is defective or covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, please contact us at info@vanlifecrafters.com. We will need the following details to process your claim:

2.2 Assessment and Resolution
Once a warranty claim is submitted, we will assess the issue in collaboration with the product manufacturer. If the issue is covered under the warranty, we will work with the manufacturer to repair or replace the product, or provide a refund if applicable.

We may ask for the product to be returned to our facility for inspection.
2.3 Resolution Timeframe
We aim to resolve all warranty claims within 14 business days, but more complex issues may take longer. We will inform you of any delays and keep you updated on the status of your claim.
3. Liability Limitations
3.1 Liability for Defects
Our liability for defects covered under the manufacturer’s warranty is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the defective product or part. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of use, income, or inconvenience caused by the defect.
3.2 Exclusion of Liability
We will not be liable for damages or losses resulting from:

3.3 Third-Party Products
For any products manufactured by third parties, the terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty will apply. We do not accept liability for the performance or defects of these third-party products beyond the manufacturer’s warranty coverage.
4. Customer Responsibility
4.1 Proper Use and Maintenance
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure proper use and maintenance of the purchased product in accordance with the guidelines provided by the manufacturer. Failure to follow these instructions may void the warranty.
4.2 User Manuals and Maintenance
Upon receiving a product, the customer will receive a user manual and care instructions, if applicable. It is essential to adhere to these guidelines to ensure the longevity and proper functioning of the product.
5. Warranty Transferability
5.1 Transfer of Warranty
The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable. If you sell or transfer the product, the warranty will not be applicable to the new owner.
6. Refunds and Replacements
6.1 Refund Policy
In the case of a defective product that cannot be repaired or replaced under the manufacturer’s warranty, we will offer a full refund or store credit, depending on the resolution agreed with the manufacturer. Refunds will be processed following a thorough evaluation of the issue.
6.2 Replacement of Defective Products
For defective products covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, we will offer a replacement or a repair, depending on the manufacturer’s decision. We will not charge additional fees for the replacement or repair under warranty.
7. Consumer Rights
7.1 Statutory Consumer Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under EU and Lithuanian law, particularly the Consumer Protection Law of Lithuania. Under these laws, consumers are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if the product is defective or does not meet the contract terms. These rights are applicable even if the warranty period has expired.

Consumers have the right to request a repair or replacement of faulty goods within two years of receiving the goods, as per EU regulations.

If the product is found to be defective within the first 6 months of purchase, the burden of proof lies with the seller to demonstrate the product is free from defects.
7.2 Right of Withdrawal
Under EU law, consumers are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period from the date they receive their product, during which they can withdraw from the purchase and request a refund. The product must be returned in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging for the refund to be processed.
